Northern New Mexico is like a treasured friend, where a visit can prove tonic and revitalizing. When a visit isn't possible, I window shop for pawn turquoise on Ebay or read Martie's blog to see if the hollyhocks are blooming.
Though it's early for hollyhocks, Taos Sunflower, the darling eco-locavore-arty-cool yarn shop in Arroyo Seco, has cultivated a web store (newly open as of last night) where the Sunflowers are selling their handspun, handknit lovelies. Like this great shawl by Martie.
So nice to touch base.
