I know I promised squash-busting recipes, but got spousal whining when I suggested grilled squash and goat cheese salad for dinner. (OK, to give Mitch credit, he didn't whine, he promised wholesale revolution.)

So in lieu of grilled squash and goat cheese, I offer a skincare tip. Take one or two tablespoons of honey, slather it on your face and let it sit for 20 minutes (or more if you can stand it). Rinse with lukewarm water. (You can even use old, gritty honey, which makes a great exfoliator.)

You won't believe how soft your face feels.
