Knitterly things to do while waiting in line to vote

1. Read the most recent issue of Interweave Knits, hot off the presses. The cover cardi is a must knit.

2. Catch up on your favorite fibery podcasts. Some recommendations: Cast-on, Lime & Violet, Knitty D and the City, Purl Diving and Sticks & String.

3. Skewer suspected Republicans with double points.

4. Load up your GoKnit Pouch with a small project and click away.

5. Make a list of future projects. Next for me, Norah Gaughan's fabulous asymmetrical cardi from VK Fall 2006. Then some wrist warmers. Then Pam Allen's shrug from IK Spring 2006. Then Karabella's cabled cardigan. Then one of my own designs. Then, well, you get the picture.

6. Teach a Democrat someone to knit.

7. Cast your ballot, then reward yourself with a trip to your favorite LYS. You've been a good citizen.
