Meatballs in the morn

My brother used to work for one of the largest pasta manufacturers in the world and in taking his leave from this employer scored us about 50 pounds of pasta.

Tonight we're having a neighborhood pasta fest. One set of neighbors is providing the venue and cooking the pasta; we're doing the sauce and meatballs (I adapted the meatball recipe from Rao's in NY); another took on salad and bread; the fourth dessert.

Thrilling to have this kind of meal waiting for us at the end of the week.
