Nothing at the mall but Chanel No. 5

Accustomed to shopping in yarn shops where everything is alluring, Mom and I were sadly disappointed in the merchandise on display at the mall. Mom's  had a gift card burning a hole in her wallet for some months and "free" even seemed like a waste. High prices, low quality and in women's sizes, a ridiculous disregard for style, shaping and proportion. Some of the garments were so hideous, well, it makes you wonder if the fashion industry isn't giggling into their fists at the American public.

We foiund something to spend the gift card on. A classic. And since my bottle turned long ago, Mom bought me one, too!

Thanks Mom. I'll be floating to work on a cloud of eau de parfum!
