Swing, Swagger, Drape: Sweater Progress

Waylaid by a bat and a banner (long story), I've made precious little progress on Greta (from Swing, Swagger, Drape) and what progress I've made has been frought.

This has been one of those beat-your-head-against-a-wall-and-watch-it-bleed knits; the frustration born of several factors--gauge adjustments and its final destiny as a gift. And I didn't listen to my mother.

She told me to use the ol' Conversion Factor trick: Yarn Gauge (or Swatch Gauge) divided by Pattern Gauge = Conversion Factor

Conversion Factor X # of stitches = New Stitches for Pattern.

Essentially you multiply every pertinent stitch number in your pattern by your Conversion Factor and you get the proper number of stitches/rows to accommodate your new gauge.

Did I do this? Nooooooooooo.

Do I need to reknit a goodly portion of the back again? Let's just say my head is getting quite bloody.
