Twinkle, twinkle little shrug

At our last meeting of the Northwest Denver Fiber Arts Guild, Mary Beth sported a gorgeous rendition of Wenlan Chia’s mohair shrug from Twinkle’s Big City Knits and I was besotted. The photo in the book doesn’t do it justice, the emphasis being on the model and the dress rather than the wrap. Why do we care how much fun the model is having and how pretty her shoulders are? You can be cute as a bug’s ear, but knitters won’t care. We just want to see your sweater.

So I bought the book and went stash diving, unearthing a mystery mohair a friend gave me for my birthday a while back and my trusty size 17s.

I suspect there’ll be an FO to show by week’s end.
